Damn the club is closed?????
Well thank you to Ian and Lyn for the great time both myself and Lollie have had and hope that this is not the last of mikes place. We want somewhere like mikes NO we need somewhere like mikes to play and enjoy ourself.
Thanks must also go to Tracey and Nig for your help over the year and a bit we have been visiting mikes, and to everyone lets get this back.

Well best of Luck to Ian, Lyn, Tracy and the gang, I hope that sometime soon & somewhere close that Mikes will re-open again.
Well its not going to be the same on weekends not having Mikes Place around.

Hopefully we see Mike's revive again one day down the track somewhere else...

This is the worst news ever. We only managed occasional visits and now wish we had made a greater effort. Our best wishes to Ian, Lyn and all the many helpers. This must have been gut wrenching for this decision to be made after so much work had gone into the development of the new site.
Maybe the occaisional reunion would be nice.

This is terrible news. My partner had just moved to Brisbane and visited Mike's place only once but really enjoyed the night. We had planned on visiting again very soon but it seems we were too late. Well done to Ian and Lyn on creating such a comfortable and fun atmosphere as Mike's Place was.
Is there any hope that Mike's Place could be relocated to an alternative venue? Im sure many people would be interested if something could be arranged!????
